Antibacterial Activity

All SALUS THERMAE products, including Hand sanitizing gel, have an international registration certificate. (CPNP Certification).

This means that SALUS THERMAE has passed more complex tests and with higher requirements than most of the products on the market in the cosmetic market, which go through a simplified certification system with the receipt of a Declaration of Conformity.

Antimicrobial activity of SYNTHAG silver

Determination of the antibacterial effect of SALUS THERMAE Gel.

Study of the antimicrobial properties of SYNTHAG silver ion clusters

Laboratory exams

The results of experimental studies have shown that the samples of SALUS THERMAE products with SYNTHAG silver ion clusters have a marked toxic effect on dangerous microorganisms, acting against a wide range of bacteria and viruses results of the microbiological analysis “The effect of the SYNTHAG silver Ag cluster on the strains of microorganisms and the determination of the concentration of the destructive silver cluster for microorganisms”, carried out by the external laboratory “Micro-B” (conclusion of the official test in the documents section) :
The test was performed for the following microorganisms:

  • *Escherichia coli
  • *Staphylococcus aureus
  • *Enterococcus faecalis
  • *Candida albicans
  • *Batteri anaerobici – Lactobacillus sakei

The antibacterial activity is measured by quantifying the survival of bacterial cells that have been carried out in close contact with the solution at different times.

From the results obtained, the SYNTHAG solution under examination has an excellent persistent inactivating activity against S. aureus, E. coli, E. faecalis, C. albicans, L. sakei.

The antibacterial effect already at the moment of contact 5 minutes for the most resistant microorganisms used for the test.
